Cultivating a
Spirituality of Storytelling:
How Ignatian Spirituality Helps Us Uncover our
Deepest Selves
with Eric A. Clayton

Too often, we’re
tempted to muddle through our ordinary days, paying little attention to the
glimmering details of God all around us. We think our stories don’t matter. And
yet, it is in these small, mundane moments where God’s Spirit whispers to us,
inviting us deeper into our unique life’s work. Join award-winning author Eric
A. Clayton for a retreat in which we plumb the depths of our stories, using the
tools and traditions of Ignatian spirituality to better understand who God is
inviting us to become. Through presentations, small group sharing and personal
prayer, we’ll encounter a God who delights in the details of our lives.
Eric A. Clayton
is an award-winning author of multiple books on Ignatian spirituality and
everyday life, including My Life with the Jedi: The Spirituality of Star Wars,
Cannonball Moments: Telling Your Story, Deepening Your Faith, and the

Healing and Wholeness. His writing—both spiritual nonfiction and speculative
fiction—has appeared in many places, including America Magazine, National
