Going Deeper: Paths and Places
on the Contemplative Journey

In this longer Empty Bowl
retreat, the 11th in this series, we will consider key learnings of
the contemplative journey and the ways we come to them. Some topics we
have visited before but will go a bit deeper. The retreat will balance
input, reflection exercises, and plenty of time and space to just be in the
presence of the Holy.
You do not need to have attended
previous Empty Bowl retreats.
Cheryl Rose, HM, has
always been drawn to the mystery of the human encounter with God and engaged in
ministry in the area of spirituality and personal growth all along, even as a
high school teacher of chemistry and physics. She has taught courses on prayer
and the spiritual journey, directed retreats for youth, school staff,
non-profits, and parishes. She has been doing spiritual direction and retreat
work for many years. As a trained spiritual director and certified Enneagram
teacher, Sr. Cheryl offers a variety of workshops for groups in Ohio,
Pennsylvania, and elsewhere.
