The Seeker's Path

…which could seem boring, tedious, tiring, unexciting—or just a waste of time. But yesterday I was thinking: will there come a time when I’m reaching the “end of my days” and the thought of just an ordinary day would be wonderful? There’s a psalm that talks about the number of days we humans have on Earth:

Suppose I were to tell you—in all confidence—that today God will be contacting you...

Some recent precious experiences have me thinking about wake-up calls from God. Some, maybe many people feel God is so silent, that they can pray or ask for help but there’s never an answer, never a response.

Lately I’ve been thinking about the pure goodness and power of all the other manifestations of the Creator—all the powerful non-human pieces of creation.

The word “Lent” is “Let” minus the “n”. Lately, I’ve been thinking how drawn I am to the spiritual work of “letting go.”
