The Seeker's Path

I’m clinging to another glorious, sun-gilded autumn morning and a profound meditation is taking place! Nature, once again, is God’s exquisite teacher!

There is light everywhere today, and the leaves are constantly swaying—dancing—as cool breezes play with the leaves. All the morning walkers exclaimed what a gorgeous day this is!

Summer is the season of childhood. It calls forth the carefree inner child from the serious-minded winter worker in each adult. “C’mon! Come outside and play!!” No matter how old we get, there is always that core child-spirit which moves more from WONDER than duty.

It happened again—twice in a week! I have to catch this teaching!! I walked outside for my early morning walk, and I found myself enveloped by fog. Last week the fog was even denser! But today’s fog was equally mysterious and compelling.

This morning as I did my early morning walk, there was the slightest snowfall. After a winter of many snowstorms and frigid weather, there was something so remarkably gentle about this soft-falling snow that it literally stopped me in my tracks several times…
