The Coffee and Contemplation series focuses on a variety of spiritual and holistic topics.
The program provides participants with input from a presenter and includes time for reflection and discussion.
This month's topic:
Precious Water: “We never know the value of water till the well is dry.”- Thomas Fuller
There is no new water. There is no life without water.
Global climate change and lack of reverence for this precious gift from God is now evident in extreme droughts and floods. The result is urgent concerns for the lack of clean, healthy water essential for the needs of all life communities.
Share your experiences with water. Reflect on the image of walking in water via film, facts and faith. Share ways we contribute to water conservation and elimination of pollution.
Explore efforts to revitalize nature’s water cycle with hopes of lessening present instability and unpredictability.
Be attentive to several messages about water offered by Pope Francis’ in his eco-encyclical, Laudato Si: On Care for our Common Home.
*The Zoom link will be sent the day before the program to all who have registered and from whom we have received payment.
